As of late Kevin Smith has become a blowhard in the Michael Moore or Rosie O Donnell sense as of late. I think if he would have said his piece, caused awareness, and just moved on people would be more apt to align with him. The fact that he keeps pushing the issue is seeming to turn people off. He did a recent radio interview on 101.1 WRIF I caught on the way into work and it was completely littered with, "I don't want to talk about that Southwest thing, but...". The spot was to promote his upcoming standup gig; but the fact that he was constantly circling back to the issue and "not letting it go" forced a distaste. Any desire I had to attend said gig was quickly demolished. Anyways, the guy is a great marketer and has a deeply loyal fanbase. Southwest handled the altercation in the worst way possible.
